Congratulations to the chorus for placing 4th in the international small chorus competition in Nashville this week. To put that in perspective, The Blend Chorus is the 4th best Sweet Adelines small chorus in the world! It's a great achievement and we are all proud to have had the chance to compete on the international stage with all the other excellent barbarshop groups. A big Thank You! to all of our families and friends who have supported us as we worked so hard to prepare. We couldn't have done it without you! And now it's time to move on to our next goal. Since we've grown, we now compete as a mid size chorus. The competition there is even more intense, so we will be working even harder to move to the next level of performance as we prepare for the Region 8 competition next April.

It's official! We are now The Blend Chorus. We are thrilled that Sweet Adelines International has approved our name change from Centennial Blend to The Blend Chorus. We are proud to be from the Centennial State of Colorado, but feel that this name change will more appropirately reflect our contemporary flair and multistate membership. Our chorus draws members from Northern Colorado as well as Southern Wyoming, so we want to reflect that with a broader, more modern title. We are real women singing real harmony, and having real fun! |
